What you are buying, how delivery works, and our all-sales-final policy.

1. What you are buying

Our products are digital files delivered by download: PDFs, a spreadsheet, and text. Nothing is shipped. The product page shows what is included and the price before you pay. The products are one-time purchases; there is no subscription and nothing renews.

2. All sales final

Because a digital file can be copied the moment it is delivered, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds, exchanges, or returns once an order is complete. Please read the product description before you buy. You will see this policy on the product page, at checkout, and on your receipt.

This policy does not limit any right you have under law that cannot be waived.

Refunds: 14 days from purchase for non-delivery, a corrupt file, a material mismatch with the product description, an unauthorized or duplicate charge, and any other rights that cannot be waived. Where a refund is due, we ask Gumroad to issue it.

Problem reporting: 30 days from purchase to write to support@1st-mates.com and request a fix. Include your order email. We will fix the problem or re-send the file where we can.

Gumroad is the merchant of record for purchases made through it and administers refunds, chargebacks, and payment disputes under its own terms, so its decision on a payment dispute may differ from ours.

3. Please contact us before disputing a charge

If something is wrong, write to us first. It is faster than a dispute with your card issuer. We may submit records of your order, delivery, and these policies in response to a dispute we believe is unfounded.

4. How delivery works

Your download link is shown at checkout and sent to the email you gave. Keep your receipt email, since it contains your link. Download and save your files promptly. If a link stops working, write to us and we will re-send it. Access to files held in your Gumroad library is also subject to Gumroad’s terms.

5. Payment and taxes

Gumroad processes your payment. We never receive or store your full card number. Prices exclude sales tax. Tax is added at checkout where required. Sales tax, VAT, or similar taxes are calculated from your location and shown before you pay. You are responsible for any tax that applies to your purchase and is not collected at checkout.

6. Promotional codes

Codes announced in our campaigns apply only during the stated period and may be limited in quantity. A code that has expired or reached its limit cannot be used. A promotional price is not a promise about future prices.

7. Customers in the EU and UK

By completing your purchase you ask us to deliver digital content immediately, and you acknowledge that you lose your right to withdraw from the contract once the download begins.

8. Price changes

Prices may change at any time. A change does not affect orders already placed.
